Beatcraft Finishing Guild

Our story begins with perfect finishes.

Beatcraft Finishing Guild was founded to raise the standard of wall and ceiling work across North America.

How it started

In 2014, three master finishers in San Francisco noticed that most crews were learning poor habits on the job. Corners were being cut, PPE was ignored, and the results showed.

They built the first intensive finishing curriculum focused entirely on walls and ceilings. Within two years the program was adopted by five major contractors. Today Beatcraft operates in twelve cities with a growing roster of industry-leading instructors.

Mission & Values

Every decision we make serves one goal: safer, cleaner, more consistent finishes across the industry.

Safety First

We never compromise on ventilation, respiratory protection, or safe access. Every lesson begins and ends with PPE protocol.

Precision Over Speed

We teach the techniques that create durable, beautiful surfaces the first time. Speed comes naturally once fundamentals are mastered.

Open Curriculum

All training materials, checklists, and SOPs are continuously updated with real-world feedback from active crews.

How we design curriculum

Every course begins with real jobsite observation. Our team films crews across the country, notes common failure points, then builds structured drills that eliminate those errors.

Students practice on calibrated mockups that simulate the most challenging conditions they will face: cathedral ceilings, textured walls, critical lighting, and tight access areas.

Progress is tracked through filmed assessments and peer review. Only those who meet our 94% quality threshold receive certification.
